An important and foundational Kabbalistic book, whose title describes its content: an introduction to the treasures of kabbalah, by the Kabbalist Rabbi Issachar Ber ben Petachya Moshe of Kremnitz. Second edition after 100 years in which it wasn’t printed – Berlin, 1711.
In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. 10 leaves. Ancient binding, detached with traces of a leather spine. Stains. Some moth perforations. Taping and restorations to the title page and more, affecting the text. Fair-good overall condition. 

On the title page, an ownership notation that has not been thoroughly examined. 

The author, Rabbi Issachar Ber ben Petachya Moshe of Kremnitz, was one of the great kabbalistic sages of Ashkenaz and Poland during the generation of the Ari’s disciples. Rabbi Shlomo Shlomil of Dreznitz wrote about him in a letter (included in Shivchei HaAri) that “he was the same sage who said of Rabbi Haim (Vittel) that he was a gilgul of the Ari.” Also wrote “Yesh Sachar”, “Imrei Bina”, “Mekor Chochmah”.
