Sefer Agunat Yisrael, containing a halachic tshuva on the release of an agunah from the Stashov community, written by the Admor Rabbi Yisrael ben Rabbi Shabtai of Kozhnitz, known as the “Maggid of Kozhnitz”.

This heter was not accepted by some rabbis of his generation and they attacked him fiercely for it. He also brought additional rabbis who supported the heter such as Gaon Rabbi Pinchas HaLevi Horwitz of Frankfurt-am-mein (the Hafla’ah), the geonim Rabbi Meir and Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margaliyot of Brod, and more.

At the end of Divrei Rivot he quotes his opposers and offers his tshuva. 38 leaves. Stefanski Chassidut #85.

Detached pages, no binding, a few moth holes, overall very good condition.
