Sefer HaMakneh, “the second section of the Sefer Hafla’ah, chiddushei halachot and aggadot” on Masechet Kiddushin, by the gaon Rabbi Pinchas ben Zvi Hirsch Horwitz, Av Beit Din of Frankfurt-am-Mein, also called the Hafla’ah after his book. Categorized as rare by the National Library, and their copy (and those in other catalogues) don’t list the four last leaves which chiddushim from Rabbi Meir Yaakov, the author’s son. From leaves 184-257 is the last pamphlet on kiddushin.

Antique leather binding, tape and repairs to the title page and a few pages, yellow page cuttings, stains, overall good condition.

The blank first leaf has a stamp and note: “From the library of Yeshay’ Bennett, Budapest.” Additional antique signatures on the title page are hard to decipher.
