Lot 164:
1. Sefer HaZohar from the Tana Rabbi Shimon bar Yochay, with the commentary Mekadesh Melech by the kabbalist Rabbi Shalom Buzaglo. 2 volumes containing Genesis, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Printed in Zolkwa 1862.
Antique leather bindings, no spine. One of the volumes is missing the rear binding and has a detached title page. Lone pages are detached; stains, otherwise overall good condition.
2. Or HaChama (Section 2 on Exodus), “the second section of the Sefer Kiryat Arba”, an exegesis on the Zohar by Rabbi Avraham Azoulay, published by the Admor Rabbi Yehezkel Shraga Halberstam (the Divrei Yehezkel) of Sinoa, eldest son of the Divrei Haim of Sanz, who wrote in the title page of the fourth section (not reproduced in this): “it was until now hidden in a manuscript…and now Hashem gave me the merit to publish it…”. He adds in the introduction to this section: “This manuscript was found in the estate of my father-in-law, the departed Yehoshua of Belz [Mahari]…”.
Brittle paper, antique binding, leather spine (detached), the back binding is missing, moth holes in the margins, stains, overall good condition.
