Manuscript in Yemenite script, pretty and uniform writing in Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic, on astrology and practical kabbalah, with many kabbalistic illustrations. Teaching about various amulets and the their order and kavanot, such as “This amulet is mekudash and tested in every way and has the shem hameforash in reverse alphabetical order…”. One can find amulets for all subjects: the Evil Eye, for negotiations, for a crying child, for the love of a wife for her husband, for one who hates the bearer to be lost, “…anyone wishing to write an amulet or to go from home to home or to travel or to marry a woman or do work or do a lottery, they should only be done during certain hours and these are them…”.


Also has remedies and segulot, for the repair of vision, for forgetfulness, for one with an evil spirit, for knowing whether a sick person will survive or not, to open one’s heart.

At the end of the manuscript, the name “Saliman ben Dawud” is mentioned. The rear blank leaf has a signature of ownership: “I the young Binyamin Moshe Hun”, “Baruch Sasson”.

12x18cm, 25 leaves. Antique binding (from the period?). Stains, the last page is torn along the length, other pages are detached as a group, ink stains in a few pages.
