Chelkat Yo’av on the four sections of the Shulchan Aruch, with the pamphlet “Kaba d’Kushiyata” at the end, “with 103 kushiyot from Shas and the poskim (i.e. kaba = 103).” By the Gaon Rabbi Yoav Yehoshua Weingarten, a fiery leader in Poland where he served as Av Beit Din of a number of communities, the last of which was Kinzk. He was a student of the Avnei Nezer and he writes at the beginning “I had most of my teacher and rabbi’s (the gaon Kadosh of Sochotchow shlita) works in front of me…”.

First edition. 2, 109, 7, [6] leaves. In place of approbations, the author included some copies of exchanges of letters between him and the Avnei Nezer, who calls the author “the famous gaon, treasure”, and engages in his chiddushim.

Brittle paper, a number of detached leaves, stains, overall good condition.
