Two rare works by Rabbi Moshe ben Chaim Wertman:
1. Romemut Yisrael on shevach am Yisrael and the second section “Ahavat Yisrael”, “collected from Shas and Midrashim, and from manuscripts never before printed”. With a separate title page. First edition, Zolkva 1848. [5], 37, [1], 49, [1] leaves in the original—this copy is missing the title page of the first section and it ends the second set of pagination on leaf 29.
Catalogued in the Rare Books section of the National Library.
2. Tzeda LaDerech, 99 shearim organized alphabetically. First edition, Warsaw 1858. [5], 122 leaves in the original—this copy is missing the title page and 3 additional leaves before the work itself, and two from the end.
Some places in the work have the handwritten signature of Rabbi Meir David ben Maharil (Rabbi Aryeh Yehuda Leib) Ginzburg of Mogielnica and Jerusalem.
Creased pages, a few are detached, no binding, tears in some places, overall fair condition.
