“Likkutei amarim…imrot tehorot…from Devar HaMelech…every month and every Shabbos, the sharp rabbi proficient in nigla and nistar, the gaon tiferet Yisrael, the holy chassid, … honored Dov Beer, who was the maggid meisharim of Mezrich and other communities”—third edition (based on the wording of the title page…but this is actually probably the fourth or fifth edition) of the first book printed with the teachings of the Maggid of Mezricht (who is hinted to), one of the greatest students of the Besht. Based on the details of the title page it was supposedly printed in 1679 but it was probably printed in 1797 (or 1840, according to Stefanski).

Stefanski Chassidut 328. [5], 4-31 leaves. Leaf 18 is accidentally bound before leaf 17.

Some of the pages are blue. Stains, overall good condition. Old binding.

The end of the book has bound Sefer Toldot HaOlam (second section of Rechovot HaIr, “because of the glut of printings, this Rechov Sheni was chosen to be printed first, because it is shorter”), an exegesis on Bereshit Rabba, 12-13, by Rabbi Moshe Shlomo Zalman HaLevi, Johannesburg 1853. Missing the title page. 27 leaves.

Overall very good condition.
