A chilling Holocaust testimony: a woman’s testimony regarding her husband’s murder by the Poles in 1945. Jerusalem 1949.
“I saw him on the day after his death and I clearly recognized him as my husband”. A tragic testimony by a woman about her husband’s murder on Polish soil, with additional testimony by her friend.
The testimony was carried out at the Supreme Rabbinical court in Jerusalem. A woman named Sarah Truman testified to her husband’s murder by Poles in 1945 (seemingly after the Shoah, a subject of interest to current historians): “My husband…I saw him the day after he was murdered and clearly recognized him as my husband.” Another woman, Chana Frankfurt, also testified.
