Sefer Zvi LaTzaddik, chiddushim on Tanach and sugiyot of Shas, Shut and droshim by the gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch ben Rabbi Aryeh Leib Levin, who served as Av Beit Din of a number of important cities: London, Halberstadt, Manheim, Berlin, and more. At the end is “Beit Tzaddik”, with the author’s biography from his grandson Rabbi Zvi Yehezkel Michalsohn, Av Beit Din of Plonsk, author of the Degen Shamayim and more.


Published by the son-in-law of Rabbi Yehezkel (above), Rabbi Avraham Natan Aylberg. [2], 96 leaves. Approbations from the Admor Rabbi Meir Yehiel of Ostrovtza and the gaon Maharsham of Berezhan. In the middle is “Beit HaYayin”, a pretty rhyme on Purim.

Stains, professional repairs to the edge of the title page and an additional leaf. Overall good condition.

Interesting notes of ownership, difficult to parse. A few emphases and corrections handwritten.
