Typewritten conversation entitled “from the words of the Maran Admor shlita of Satmar said on Shabbat of Parshat Vayishlach 1957, during the Zionist war with the Arabs called by them ‘the Sinai Operation’.”

Extremely strongly worded piece on his pain regarding the situation of the Jews in Israel and the dangers in which they found themselves. He feared that “if God forbid Israel wins the Jews will be in greater danger, because then the ‘kofrim’ will win and who knows what will come after that.”

The piece contains the rav’s zealous narratives, including strong criticism for Agudas Yisrael which cooperated with the Zionists: “It is expounded in the Torah that the minim will cause trouble to the Jews, but the fact that Jews will held them is a blow not written in the Torah.” Mentions the prohibition on conquering territory, etc.

21x32cm. Repaired in the margins, stains, tear in the margins without damage to the text.
