Interesting letter from Rabbi Yitzhak Hutner, head of the Chaim Berlin yeshiva in New York. Brooklyn 1972.
He expresses thanks to Rabbi Weiss, and writes in his usual florid language: “this is not the first time we have been helped by you. But who knows the ways of the wind…davka today I have the desire to set my thanks in writing…”.
Written on a typewriter (official letterhead) and signed by hand.

Rabbi Yitzhak Hutner (1906-1981) served as head of the Chaim Berlin yeshiva and a member of the Council of Torah Sages. He was known as the Pachad Yitzhak after the series of books he published. He led the yeshiva for many years as well as an additional youth yeshiva.
