Letter stamped by the kabbalist Rabbi Haim Shaul HaKohen Dweck on the printing of kabbalistic works by the Rehovot HaNahar yeshiva which he led. He writes about the activity of Rabbi Ben Zion Issacharoff, who built the Rehovot HaNahar yeshiva and took upon himself to print kabbalistic works from original manuscripts held in the yeshiva’s library. He requests Rav Zonenfeld to give a certificate to the publisher since they don’t know him (Rav Davich) as well, so that he can get the money necessary to take care of the printing.

21x27cm, light creases, defects in the margins, very good condition.

Rabbi Haim Shaul HaKohen Davich (1858-1933) was a great kabbalistic sage in Jerusalem, Chief Rabbi of Aleppo, Syria, and head of the Rehovot HaNahar yeshiva in Jerusalem. He wrote many books, and many Jerusalem kabbalists were his students.
