Large and wonderful oil painting on canvas, showing the hills of Jerusalem and its typical buildings and houses peeking out behind the walls, signed by the artist Albert Goldman in Hebrew and in Latin script. Inside a handsome wooden frame, including the frame: 88x78cm. Overall good condition.
Albert Goldman (1922-2011) was a Jewish-Israeli artist born in Egypt. After moving to Israel he studied art under many Israeli artists such as Zvi Meirovitch, Avraham Yaskil, and more. His style is unique and interesting, and his illustrations depict landscapes from Israel (usually), including the Galilee and Jerusalem, olive trees, and more.
