Postcard with picture of the Admor Rabbi Meir Shalom Rabinowitz of Porisov Otvotzk (Poland), before the Second World War. In the postcard, the Admor is sitting on a cart wearing a fur coat surrounded by his chassidim. Unique, extremely rare item. 14x9cm. Good condition.
Rabbi Meir Shalom Rabinowitz of Porisov Kotzk was named after his grandfather Rabbi Meir Shalom of Kloshin, son of Rabbi Yehoshua Asher the 2nd of Porisov-Kotzk, grandson of the Yehudi HaKadosh, and son-in-law of Rabbi Eliezer Yehoshua of Chmelnik. In his youth he served already as Admor after his father’s death in 1936. He perished during the Shoah with many of his chassidim.
