Sefer Zechira v’Inyanei Segulot by Rabbi Zecharya of Plingian (Plungė), in the Samogitia (Žemaitija) region. “I gave my heart to study and give drash on old and new books…good segulot and remedies and from tikkunei keri and for sons who are talmidei chachamim and to remove all dangers and magic and obstacles…and for matters of this world and the next world…I wrote this to save man from dangers and if he does not take care of the blood in his head…”.

2 sections with a separate title page for each. The title page does not note the location or year of printing, but at the end of the book it is noted that it was printed in Johannesburg and the second title page has the detail which in gematria comes out 808, which is not possible and it seems to be an error—the National Library estimates the year to be 1858. 43, 57 leaves.

Old binding, stains, first and last pages have worn tears at the edges, overall good condition. The back of the first title page has an Ashkenazi stamp: “Yitzhak Lipman [?]”.
