Introduction to the Sefer Avot al Banim, in which he expands (among other things) on the subject of education and the giving of drashot in foreign languages, the result of pressure by Maskilim on the government, which required Orthodox rabbis to do so—his zealousness in refusing the departure from the practice of earlier chachamim is clear, and he brings a letter from the Chatam Sofer on this explosive subject.
