Original illustration of the gedolim, taken from a Pesach Haggadah, depicting the Eiger and Sofer family seated around a table. At the head are seated Rabbi Akiva Eiger and his son-in-law the Chatam Sofer (Rabbi Moshe Sofer), and his son the Ktav Sofer and Rabbi Simcha Bonem Sofer (son of the Ktav Sofer, died approximately 20 years before the printing of this Haggadah). On the other side are two youthful boys—calling them for the time to say shma of shacharit.
Professionally repaired on the back, 30x44cm, good condition.
