Lot 144:
“Book of Psalms with maamadot, organized by days of the week, with Yiddish translation”, no year or location of printing noted on the title page. Suits Russia/Poland, turn of the 19th century. Based on the wording of the title page, the typography and commentary—it was copied from the Slavita printing of 1826 and 1834, only the pagination is different. We didn’t find this edition in the various libraries.
Printed on light-blue, high-quality paper with yellow page cuttings. 69, 69-98 leaves. The last page has the seder Kriyat Shma al HaMita. New binding with a bookmark, moisture stains, the cutting (done at printing) occasionally damages the edge of the text, overall very good condition.
