Lot 123:
Megillat Esther done by a God-fearing Jew and skilled sofer, on bright, high-quality parchment. Ashkenazi, Ari script. Megillat HaMelech with pretty, uniform writing throughout, especially wonderful.
Height of parchment: 39cm. Height of writing: 22cm. 28 lines per column. Kosher, was analyzed by a computer.
Decorated with colorful, unique illustrations, done by hand. Each column throughout the megillah has curtains with precise folds in different colors, with each column dominated by a different color and above them gold crowns inlaid with gems, the types of crowns vary in a fixed format. There are also royal pillars designed to look like marble, bearing flowers (each column is unique). Marble steps at the base of the text with a carpet matching the drapes.
Artistic, wonderfully unique work done in lively colors.
