Buyer's premium:

1. Torat HaAretz, a miniature booklet on “principal laws of hafrashat terumot and maaserot and a summary of halachot of shmita for 1945, the year of shmita.” Very rare booklet, doesn’t appear in various libraries nor in the bibliographic database and has not appeared at auction.

The piskei dinim are from geonim Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank and Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer. At the end is a survey on heiter shmita (heiter mechira) and the controversy on the subject. Indices detached and the front jacket is detached. Seems to be a complete copy, not checked thoroughly.


2. Summary of Laws of Shmita for Practical Halacha. Second edition, Jerusalem 1903. At the end is a pamphlet on the community’s mitzvot on the subject. Jerusalem 1904. Jacket on pink paper.

3. Guide to the Laws of Shviit for Households. Published by Mekor Chaim, Petah Tikva 1959. Hebrew and German on opposite sides of the page.
Rare, not in the National Library but at Bar-Ilan. Hasn’t appeared at auction.

Other than detailed above, overall good condition.
