Torat Kohen by Rabbi Alexander Ziskind HaKohen, Av Beit Din of Shidlitz and Polotzk, a student of the Chozeh of Lublin, Rabbi Simcha Bonim of Peshischa, and the gaon Rabbi Yaakov of Lisa (the Chavat Daat and Netivot HaMishpat). Two sections:
Part 1 has exegeses for the Midrash Raba and likkutim on Tanach and Agadot of the Razal.
Part 2 has chiddushei sugiyot Shas.
Catalogued as rare by the National Library. [4], 312, [3]. [2], 163, [2], 12 pages.
Approbation from the Admor Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Aryeh of Radzimin. Separate title page for each section. At the end is “Mareh Kohen”, a history of the author by Rabbi Zvi Yehezkel Michalsohn of Warsaw.
paper a little fragile, a few moth holes, binding partially detached, spine frayed. Overall fair to good condition.
