Imrei Shefer, Chassidic divrei Torah on the parshiyot of the Torah, by the Admor Rabbi Shmuel Frankel of Darag. The book also has hanhagot from the rabbi, as well as Shut with the Divrei Chaim, and prenomeranten pages with mention of the tzaddik Rabbi Yeshayahu Steiner of Kerestor (Kerestir).
Number of signatures of ownership on the blank first leaf and title page. Stains, pages loose at the beginning and end of the book, defects to the binding, very good condition.
Rabbi Shmuel Frankel (1815-1882) was a student of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, who ordered him to accept the rabbinical leadership of Darag, where he adopted the Admorut and many came to him for blessings. The Divrei Chaim said of him: “The Rabbi of Darag has the power to clothe his words and his Torah in 10 different garments! So that they may sound simple, but his ability to hide his high level is wondrous.”
