The dedication!

On Rosh Hashanah, the Breslov Chassidim of Poland who did not manage to travel to Uman gathered in Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin headed by the Gaon Rabbi Meir Shapira, who willingly gave the halls of his yeshiva for this purpose. This was the largest Kibbutz in Poland. Approx. a month later, Rabbi Meir passed away, shortly before this book was published. In gratitude, a dedication commemorating him was printed on verso of th etitle page:

The printer’s dedication

This copy is even more pedigreed since it was dedicated by the printer, Rabbi Aharon Tzigelma, himself to the yeshiva, handwriting his dedication on the flyleaf: "מנחה היא שלוחה לבית עקד הספרים דישיבת חכמי לובלין מאת הקיבוץ חסידי ברסלב בפולין יום ועש"ק ג’ שבט (נדרים ס"ו) [הסוגריים במקור ונועדו לציין את הדף היומי של אותו יום שהפך לחלק מסדר יומם של חסידי פולין] תרצ"ד החותם בשם כל הקיבוץ אהרן ליב ציגעלמאן מווארשא".

The Tzigelman Press!

The famed Chassid Rabbi Aharon Leib Tzigelman – became close to the Breslov Chassidut by the influence of the Mashpi’im Rabbi Yitzchak Bteiter and Rabbi Shlomo Gavriel. After Rabbi Shlomo Gavriel’s passing, he even served as Mashpi’a of the Breslov Chassidim of Warsaw and stood by their side during World War I. Since ca. 1912, strengthened the Beit Midrash in Warsaw, established with other important Breslov Chassidim the first holy Kibbutz on Rosh Hashana in Lublin, gave daily lessons and financially supported important Breslov Chassidim, breathing life into anything related to the Breslov Chassidut.

One of his special enterprises was the printing and distributing of the books with the Torah of Rabbeinu Moharan. Based on a careful calculation, until 1936, he merited printing and distributing seventy-five thousand copies of Breslov books. The books were distributed at an insignificant price sometimes even for free, having one single purpose – to publish Rabbeinu’s Torah in the world! As a result, he fell into heavy debts, which despite his many efforts, he did not manage to return.

In addition, varied notations on the flyleaves, apparently by mischievous students of the yeshiva. Stamps of the library of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin.
