Lot 219:
Two books from the Torah of the Admor Rabbi Simcha Bunim of Peshischa:
1. Sefer Kol Simcha, novellae on the Torah – Second edition, Premishla (Przemyśl), 1876. 30 leaves.
2. Sefer Kol Simcha, Pilpulim on the Shas – Second edition, Premishla (Przemyśl), 1876. 22 leaves.
On verso of the title pages, approbations from the 1859 edition, by the Admor Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Alter, the Chidushei HaRim of Ger and by the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Mushkat of Prague (the son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak of Radvil the son of the Maggid of Zlotchov).
According to Gershom Scholem, the author is Rabbi Alexander Zusah Av Beit Din of Plock, who wrote down the Torot he heard from Rabbeinu (the author of Sefer Yakar Mipaz) and to whom the letter printed on the last leaf of the book was sent.
Some moth damage. Some loose leaves. Good overall condition.
