Lot 210:
Volume containing two books with the Torah of the Admorim of Pershischa-Kozmir. It should be noted that these copies are not in the National Library and the numbering and documentation are based on facsimile editions of the books.
1. Sefer Kitvei Kodesh, novellae on Shgyot Hashas and Shulchan Aruch, by the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak known as the Yehudi Hakadosh of Pershischa. Published by his grandson Rabbi Moshe Yehdua Leib Taub of Warsaw who inherited the manuscript from his father, Rabbi Yerachmiel Zvi Taub – first edition – Warsaw, 1926. [5], 3-26 leaves, 3 pp.
Approbations by a wide range of famed Polish Admorim: the Imrei Emes of Ger, Rabbi Meir Yechiel of Ostrovtzah, Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Elazar Leiner of Radzin, the Rav of Skernevich, Rabbi Yisroel Shapiro of Grodzisk. the Rav of Amshinov and more.
2. Sefer Imrei Zvi on the Torah, by the Admor Rabbi Yerachmiel Zvi, the grandson of Rabbi Yechezkel of Kozmir and the Rav of Pershischa. Published by his son, the above Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib. First edition – 1926. [1], 40 leaves, 5 pages containing a list of subscribers from the elite of Polish Jewry.
Fine embossed binding. Fragile paper. Some taping. Minor stains. Some loose leaves. Good overall condition.
On the first title page, the publisher’s stamp: "הרב משה יהודה בן הרב הצדיק ר’ ירחמיאל צבי זצ"ל מקאזמיר" (Rabbi Moshe Yehuda ben Rabbi Yerachmiel Zvi of Kozmir) – as indicated by these copies which he published, he followed in the footsteps of his rabbis and forefathers, diligently studying their Torah.
On the flyleaf, a pen notation: "יוסף הלוי בורנשטין..".
