Sefer Hilchot Medinah, by the Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Waldenberg author of Tzitz Eliezer, section I: "… on the judge and the trial… Semicha and Mishpat Hameluchah…" First ediiton – Jerusalem, 1952, 32, 283, [1] pp. Worn and detached spine. Missing back board. Moth perforations. Detached sheets. Fair-good overall condition.
On the title page, a dedication handwritten and signed by the author, indicating his love and reverence to Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer: "למע"כ הגאון האדיר האמיתי פאר ישראל והדרו וכו’ כקש"ת מוהר"ר איסר זלמן מלצר שליט"א ר"מ ראשי דישיבת עץ חיים הכללית מאת אליעזר יהודא וולדינברג".
In addition, two partly erased stamps of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer: "איסר זלמן מלצר (אב"ד ור"מ סלוצק) ר"מ ראשי להישיבה וראש המוסר הכללי עץ – חיים בעיה"ק ירושלים תובב"א"
The author, writer of the dedication: Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Waldenberg (1916-2007), author of the Shut Tzitz Eliezer, Shvitat Hayam [the laws of travelling by ship on shabbat] and Hilchot Medinah, one of the foremost Poskim of the previous generation, known primarily due to his responsa and extensive knowledge of halacha and medicine. He was a member of the great rabbinic court, received the Israel Prize for religious literature and the Rav Kook Prize.
The receiver of the dedication: Rabbi Isser Zalman Melzer (the Even HaEzel) (1870-1954) was the Rav of Slutzk, chairman of Moetzet Gedolei haTorah in Israel and the Rosh Yeshiva of Etz Chaim in Jerusalem. He wrote the Even HaEzel on the Rambam.
