Historical and fascinating: huge ledger of the incomes of the Vaad Haklali-Knesset Yisrael Jerusalem. Contains documentation of sums that were sent mainly by mail, where they were sent from and the donors’ names from all over the world, especially the USA. From the years 1909-1910.
Among others, the following USA cities appear in the ledger: New York, Chicago, Michigan, Ohio, Seattle, St. Louis, Baltimore, Boston and more. From all over the world, there are names of donors from Lebanon, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Britain, Australia, Austria and more.
The ledger contains names of donors and in many cases, the designation of the donation. The donors include city rabbis and other famed rabbis (see Hebrew catalog text for examples).
Semi-leather binding, blemished in several places. Stains and minor blemishes. Good overall condition.
