Sefer Shalmei Tzibur, responsa on Orach Chaim, by the Gaon Rabbi Yisrael Yaakov Algazi, published by his son Rabbi Yom Tov – the Maharit Algazi – first edition, Salonika 1790. [3], 348 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.

From leaf 168b-190: Sefer Shalmei Yachid – Dinei Yachid Bitfillah and Dinei Aveilut. From leaf 191 and onward: Sefer Shalmei Chagigah – Dinei and Hilchot Tefillah and the customs of the synagogue on Sabbath and Jewish festivals. 

Partly detached binding. The title page and several of the first leaves are detached and some from the end are also restored – three of them containing the foreword and indices with significant missing text. Much moth damage. Partially trimmed headings. Fair-poor condition. 

On the title page, a blemished Sephardic signature: 
"הצעיר יוסף אבואלעפיא". On the leaf following the title page, a Sephardic notation with the years 1924. Two stamps, one at the end of the book:
"ישראל אלקים".
