On the flyleaf, a lengthy dedication handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Wolf Sofer, one of the youngest disciples of the Chatam Sofer and his succeeding son the Ketav Sofer, addressed to the Gaon Chassid Mordechai Av Beit Din of Yanushaza, the son-in-law of the Av Beit Din of Komarno (who had two son-in-law named Mordechai: Rabbi Mordechai Eliezer Weber and the above Rabbi Mordechai Reichenfeld) for his marriage to the daughter of the Gaon Rabbi Pinchas Leib Friedan Av Beit Din of Komarno:
