"מי כמונו יודעים כי כ"ת רך כדונג ולא כקנה… השלום" Polemic letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Baruch Baseches Av Beit Din of Bordozen, addressed to Rabbi Menachem Mendel Av beit Din of Gura Humora – Bordozen, 1928.
The letter was written by Rabbeinu in response to his friend Rabbi Babad’s letter suggesting several ways to resolve the dispute. Rabbi Basheches writes that the other party is unwilling to negotiate כבאם לפני מר יתחפשו בעור כבש וכשובם הנה ישובבו ויתהללו כזאבי ערב וכל האמצעים כשרים להם למען החזק במחלוקת, ה’ ירחם עליהם".

The Gaon Rabbi Baruch Baseches Av Beit Din of Bordozen (1867-1933) born in Galicia and received his Semicha from the Maharsham of Brezan, rabbi Yitzchak Ittinga and more. Served as Domatz of Galina and in 1901 became Av Beit Din of Salka, Bucovina. From there, he moved to Bordozen to serve as Rosh Av Beit Din, a position he held until his passing. Author of Kuntres Kevod melachim (Lemberg, 1900).
