Sefer Chikrei Lev, section I on Yoreh Deah of a series of 12 Halachic books, by Rabbi Raphael Yosef ben Rabbi Chaim Chazan (passed away in the early 19th century, author of Ma’archei Lev Drushim). First edition – Livorno, 1794. [1], 339 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Late binding. Moth perforations. Moth damage in several places. Stains. Good overall condition.
On the title page, the signature of Rabbi Chaim Pinto the first and beneath it, a self-dedication by Rabbi David ben Shimon, the Dvash, who notes that he bought the book from the above Rav or his heirs. At the end of the book, a short gloss handwritten by Rabbi Chaim Pinto.
