The importance of this edition: In the article Seder Hatikkun Leshvi’i shel Pesach, Kiryat Sefer 52 – Jerusalem, 1977, Meir Bnayahu notes that this edition is the first to include prayers for Shvi’i shel Pesach in communities of Ashkenaz. The editor, Rabbi Anshil Danzuger, added to this edition prayers and Tikkunim from previous editions, including, on leaf 104b: "סדר ותקון ליל שביעי של פסח – נהגו אנשי המעשה בליל זה שירדו אבותינו בים סוף ועברו בו בחרבה, לקרות ולשנות סדר הזה…". The source of this custom is Amsterdam and following this edition, the Tikkun for Shvi’i shel Pesach was added to many subsequent editions, including Chassidic editions that were printed in Berditchov and Zhytomyr, where Rabbi Anshil Danziger’s foreword was also included.
