Siddur Rabbi Yaakov of Emden – section I, Platin Beit El Ha’omed al Shiva Amudei Shamayim – Ashkenaz version – the press of Avraham ben Yitzchak Isaac – second edition Koretz 1818.
The book was approbated by leading Chassididc rabbis, the Admor Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Apta and the Admor Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl.
"המתפלל בו בכוונה תפלתו ריקם אינה חוזרת חלילה" Leading Chassidic rabbis and Admorim favored the Siddur and used it constantly, basing many of their customs on it. It was also favored by Maran the Chatam Sofer and his disciples: אשר מנעוריו חשקה נפשו בחיבורי הגאון מהר"י יעב"ץ, וסידור עמודי שמים היה שעשועיו".
[2], 269, 280-387 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Two sections in two volumes with fine new bindings. The two title pages and the title page of the second section and the last leaf of each section are completed with a professional, true to the original, photocopy. Moth perforations and damage. Some leaves of the second section are professionally restored. Fair overall condition.
