Important Judaica. Pair of rimonim for a Sefer Torah, made of silver. Upper Vienna, 1864. Decorated with cutting work and engraving. Enamel work of plants and flowers. One has the dedication “Given for Hashem by Elisha ben Menachem HaKohen for my son-in-law Avraham HaKohen.” The town of Krayova in Romania was a famous center for sefardi culture and it seems that these rimonim were dedicated for the sefardi synagogue in the city. Stamp of Alt Wien (Upper Vienna), total weight: 795g. Height: 29cm. Stamp of the artist, J.E. Good condition. Item was brought to sale by a private collection.
