The Admor Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager (1888-1972) the son of the Admor Rabbi Yisrael the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz, and son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Zeev of Rachmastrivka. He received his Semicha from the Maharsham of Berezhany, was Rav in Vilchovitz (Romania) until the Holocaust, and after it, re-established the Chassidut in Israel, founded Kiryat Vizhnitz, and Vizhnitz institutions in Bnei Brak. He was a member of the Mo’etzet Gedolei HaTorah and a prominent leader of the Chareidi community in Israel.
