Lot 101:
"גם אנכי עומד… להוציא ספר בענייני קדשים" – lengthy and early letter handwritten by the Admor Rabbi Ben Zion Rabinovich of Biala – referring to his father the Chelkat Yehoshua and his first work that was published – Gateshead, 1970.
Rabbeinu sent his letter to the Gaon Rabbi Hillel Medalia and it discusses varied rabbinate matters. The letter indicates Rabbeinu’s genius and the magnitude of his influence, when he was only 35 years old and in his father’s lifetime! The letter begins with Rabbeinu’s blessing: "כה יעזור השי"ת שנוכל לבשר ולהתבשר אך בש"ט ישועות ונחמות…". Then he discusses Rabbi Medalia’s intention to run for office of the Tel-Aviv-Yaffo Rabbinate: "כבר מלתי אמורה שרואים אתם מכל הבחינות לכסא הרם הזה ובודאי גם השפיע על כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א שישים השפעתו לטובת כל העניינים לטובה…".
Rabbeinu also mentions his intention to publish the first section of his famed series of books Mevaser Tov: "גם אנכי עומד בלאו הכי להוציא ספר בענייני קדשים בצירוף ספרו של חותני זצ"ל…".
The last part of the letter discusses charity matters, which preoccupied Rabbeinu.
