With exegeses Metzudat David and Metzudat Zion. With the commentary Tefillah L’Moshe by Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum, Av Beit Din of Ohel, the Yismach Moshe. He lived from 1759-1841, and is the forefather of the Sighet-Satmar dynasty. Known from his youth as a genius, when he was 25 he was appointed to be the rabbi of Sinoa, and in 1808 he was accepted as the rabbi and Av Beit Din of Ohel, and thousands followed him. He was a student of the Hozeh of Lublin, the Maggid of Kozhnitz, Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimnov, and the Ohev Yisrael of Aphtha. He dealt a lot with giving out amulets and was known as a miracle worker. His students include: Rabbi Yoel Ashkenazi, Av Beit Din of Zlotchov (the Maleh HaRo’im), Rabbi Menachem Mendel Panet of Desh, and Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Friedman of Liska. Among his books are Heshiv Moshe on halacha, Yismach Moshe, and Tefillah L’Moshe. Stamp of ownership. Wear on the binding. 354 pages. 22cm, generally good condition.
