An interesting letter addressed to "The commissioners who lead the holy community here". The letter was written in Yiddish and deals with how to divide up the estate of the deceased Rafael Onah. The letter was written in European-Rabbinic handwriting and signed: "The small one Itzik son of Rabbi Yaacov Hamburger". The body of the letter is not dated, but at the top of the letter is a line in English: "N’ 33, Copenhagen… October 11, 1812". | Greenish paper, thick. | 21×16 cm. Overall condition: Good.
