An ancient prayer book with over 1000 pages, which encompass the entire Jewish calendar, prayers, laws and more. At the end of the prayer book are five additional handwritten leaves, which contain four charts for calculation of the Jewish calendar in order to fix the date of Jewish festivals. On the first leaf of the book are ownership stamps of "Rabbi Aharon Rabinowitz, a former refusenik in Russia, Rabbi and spiritual mentor son of the holy Gaon of Lachishan – Suprasul – Bialystok". Additional, earlier, ownership inscriptions, "Avraham David Gelberman, Klausenberg, 1895" as well as yartzheit inscriptions in scribal handwriting from 1886. The prayer book is bound in original leather binding. | The binding is partially detached. Stains, worming holes.
