A manuscript of the transcription of the Etz Chaim booklet, by the Rebbe Rashab of Lubavitch. Written in pleasant and neat oriental handwriting on squared notebook leaves bound with a hard cardboard binding. At the top of the manuscript, introductions from the Rebbes the Rayatz and Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch, and at the end additions: Introduction of Rabbi Chaim Vital and letters. | A short time before his death the Rebbe Rayatz said “There is a place to be fenced in. Go to the Jews of Morocco who need teachers, and disseminate Torah among them. There is no difference between Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews. We are all the children of Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov, and we have one God in the Heavens and one Torah on earth”.
