Lot 356:
A collection of four letters from Rabbi Baruch Yehoshua Yerachmiel Rabinowitz: 1. A letter with his handwriting and signature, with very important content to Rabbi Chaim Zvi Schwartz from 1947. In the letter, the Rebbe writes “And we are very satisfied that you agreed to our coming to your country, and perhaps the fact that no student of the Baal Shem Tov has ever set foot in your country means that we must fill the void and breathe life into our Jewish brethren there”. “Like the example of when we were in Budapest during the War, which was the stronghold of the opponents of Chassidut in Hungary, and we were successful in raising the honor of the chassidut and the chassidim… Perhaps this is why the city was saved from the Holocaust and remained the only city of all the holy congregations of Europe to be saved”. At the end are 4 lines in his handwriting and his signature with wishes for a happy and successful new year. 2. A letter entirely in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Shneur Zalman Zingrontsch from 1948. Regarding the school children in our country, upon whom the whole generation is dependent for their tikun. At the end is a new year’s greeting and his signature. 3. A letter entirely in his handwriting and with his signature. At the end “May God fulfill all of your wishes for the good…and a kosher and joyful festival”. 4. A letter entirely in his handwriting and with his signature. To Rabbi Chaim Zvi Schwartz. At the end is a blessing in his handwriting and with his signature. At the end “And may you merit to have a gmar chatima tovah in all five of the books of the righteous”. All of the letters are on official document paper. Stains on one letter. Folding marks. Very good overall condition.
