Lot 287:
1. Five receipts of various types, stamped by the yeshiva and the administrators of the yeshiva: Rabbi Haim Elazar Alter and Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Lichtenstein. Given to the Sharaf family and Rabbi Nachman Papirna. 2. Two letters printed on a typewriter on official letterhead, also stamped as above, sent to the Pinchevsky family. The Sfat Emet yeshiva is the flagship yeshiva of the Gur chassidim in Israel, andhas operated since 1925. It was named after the Admor Yehuda Aryeh Leib Alter. Two of the Admorim are buried in its courtyard, Rabbi Avrahma Mordechai Alter (who died during the War of Independence) and his son Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter who served as rosh yeshiva until he became Admor. | Various sizes and conditions, generally good.
