Book by the Tanna Rabbi Yose ben Halafta. With exegesis of the Vilna Gaon. Together with Seder olam Zuta and Seder Kabbalah of the Ra’avad. HaMesorah printing, Jerusalem 1955. Page before the cover has the signature of the gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib Malin (1906-1962), who was the head of the Beit HaTalmud yeshiva and one of the greatest Rosh Yeshivas of the United States, alongside Rabbi Aharon Kotler. He was the student of Kfirei HaArayot of Lithuania, Rabbi Shimon Shkop, and Rabbi Elhanan Wasserman, Rabbi Baruch Be’er and Rabbi Yerucham Leibovitz. He edited the second section of the book Da’at Chochmah v’Mussar by Rav Leibovitz, as mentioned in the introduction to the book. Also studied with the Griz Soloveitchik in Brisk and many of the lessons by the Brisker Rav published afterwards were transcribed by him. Was in a hevruta with Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Shapira (same city). Among his students were Rav Mordechai Eliphant, Rav Shimshon David Pinkus, and Rav Aharon Feldman. | [12], 114; 53 pages. 15cm. Generally good condition.
