Five pages with chiddushim, at the end is a long letter from 1923 to Rav Nachum Palai. Deals with divrei torah, personal issues, and yeshiva issues. Rabbi Shar (1875-1952) was a head of the Slobodka yeshiva in Lithuania, and then in Israel. In his youth he studied with Rabbi Baruch Beer Leibowitz, and then in Volozhin and Slobodka yeshivot with Rabbi Natan Zvi Finkel. He was the head of the Slobodka yeshiva in Lithuania for years, and then he moved to Israel and served as the yeshiva’s head in Bnei Brak until he died in 1952. Signs of folding.
