Rav Yehoshua Yaniel (1896-1970) was a student of Rav Kook and was among his first students appointed at the OtzerChayyim yeshiva in Yafo. Studied alone with him. In 1920 he was sent by Rav Kook to support the serving Chief Rabbi, Baruch Markus. In 1922 he was appointed to the Rabbinical Council of Haifa, and founded the Beit Din in Haifa, where he served as a dayan, alongside the Chief Rabbi of Haifa. After Rabbi Baruch Markus passed away, he was appointed to succeed him. At his burial, Rav Kook gave an emotional eulogy. Printer: Casper Sten. With old front binding. 11.5×7.5cm.
