The book Ach Pri Tevuah, homilies on the Torah in a chassidic approach by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska, first edition, Munkacs, 1875. A separate title page for the second part, ownership signatures in Latin script and the signature of the kabbalist Rabbi Mordechai Moshe Karfman of Jerusalem. [4], 116 leaves. [1], 88 leaves. A well-preserved and nice edition, original faded binding, a few stains, slight tears on the first leaves, good overall condition. Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Friedman son of Rabbi Aharon – the Rebbe of Liska (1808-1874), founder of the Liska Chassidut and one of the foremost chassidic leaders of 19th century Hungary. He was the primary teacher of Rabbi Yeshaya Kerestirer who even used to sign his letters “A helper of the holy Rebbe of Liska.”
