A typewritten wedding invitation, with the dates and the names of the bride and groom added by hand. The wording of the invitation appears in an acrostic of the words Kol Chattan Kallah. The host, “Lipa Shomer” invites the recipient to the wedding of his daughter Henda with the groom Chaim Yosef son of the philanthropist Leib Frachtenal. The wedding ceremony will take place on Tuesday of the weekly portion of Tetzaveh 56.. (no precise date is filled in) in Helitutz [?]. At the top center above the text there is handwriting, some in Yiddish, apparently a personal invitation to “the important, dear and honest woman, the educated woman…” with profusive blessings. Printed in Prezmyl by Zupnik Knoller. 27.5 x 22 cm. Folded leaf, folding marks, slight stains, slight tears at the edges, good overall condition.
