A collection of important books on the Bible, some with interesting ownership stamps or comments and inscriptions. 1. Baalei Brit Avraham on the Torah, Neviim and Ketuvim by the kabbalist Rabbi Avraham son of Mordechai Azulai. First edition – Vilna, 1873. Title page is missing. 2. The book Leviat Chen and Or Yekarot on the Torah, by the father and son Rabbi Aryeh Yehuda Leib, av beit din of Sokal and Rabbi Yosef Binyamin Zev Wolf, av beit din of Shinowa with an approbation from the head of the community of Venice – printing press of Meir di Zara, Venice, 1742. Comments in two types of handwriting, ownership inscriptions on the title page in Sephardi handwriting, ownership stamps: “Avraham Menachem”. 3. The book Meorei Ha’Esh on the Torah and megillot by Rabbi Meir son of Yitzchak Eisenstadt – Warsaw, 1891. Ownership inscription: “Belongs to Simcha Bunim Halevi Pastag.” Signature: “Yaakov Aharon Kooperman Lodz, son of Rabbi Mordechai Yitzchak.” An erased ownership stamp from the city of Lodz. 4. The book Maharam Schick on the 613 mitzvot, two parts with a separate title page for each part. By Rabbi Moshe Schick of Huszt. First edition – Muncaks, part one 1895. Part two, 1898. Conditions vary, good overall condition.
