Buyer's premium:

Large volume with the works of Shut by Rabbeinu Refael Shlomo Laniado, Rabbi of Aleppo: Beit Dino shel Shlomo and Lechem Shlomo. [8], 228; 44 leaves. Moth holes, stains. Moisture marks at the tops of some pages. No binding. Overall good condition.

The title page has pretty Sefardi signatures, in the center is signed: “Goel Acharon Yosef Davik HaKohen”, and on the side it seems: “Meir Davik” (or Yosef). There are many other signatures on the title page, Meir Davik HaKoen, Yosef Davik, and Yaakov Davik. This family is a rabbinical family from Aleppo, probably related to the Baal HaSadeh, and there is also the signature of Rabbi Shmuel Laniado in the margins of the index (signed twice),

with a stamp on the title page: “David Mordechai Heschel Shtefanesht (Botoshani)”—Rabbi David Mordechai Heschel (died 1964) was the son of Yitzhak Meir. He served as rabbi in Shtefanesht (Romania).

The body of the work has a number of long notes in the margins in Sefardi handwriting. One of them is signed “Noam Yashrash”—Rabbi Yisrael Sasson, the Shut Knesset Yisrael, signed using an abbreviation as was common among Sefardi sages who signed their notes.
